A part of the conference went out for a while to go a little town and the truth is that every time I like most, is very nice and there are many activities you can do like visiting the aquarium, the zoo, the insectarium, wander the Mississippi River on steamboats, shopping or simply (and more common!) go on a spree!.

is the second day here in New Orleans and today opened the exhibition at the Morial Convention Center, is the incredible number of major companies that are there. Using equipment companies for shows too! BOXX machines, Quadro cards, processors and workstations, Motion Capture systems, and last but not least in many stands have televisions with movies in 3D, a TV that does not need glasses to show the pictures in 3D, and many more things that are simply amazing!

There is a stand in making a sketch competition and make the best day's work earns a 15''MacPro! In addition there are other prizes as Quadro cards, Adobe CS4 Suite and much more!

throughout the day are the Master Classes at the Autodesk booth and Tech talks on Intel and Pixar, tomorrow is the event Vray and I already registered to attend, should be awesome!

What about friends?

This year's conference SIGGRAPH (Computer Graphics conference of the year but for those who do not know) are occurring in the city of New Orleans, USA, and have had the opportunity to attend first time to this event.

I can tell you is very, very impressive! Just one day here and I've seen great things!, Every day I'll upload a short summary of the events that are taking place, as well as photos of the exhibits and some other video you can take.

As the city is very nice indeed, the number of people who are attending the conference is incredible, I can not tell you a number to give you an idea, but I can say that there are 400 showrooms in the center convention and almost 200 are of the conference, plus some of the larger rooms for major events and exhibition, which already can see names like Pixar, Autodesk, Nvidia, Google, and many others that starting tomorrow will be showing the public their new tecnologíasy progress.
