I have a question about the legality and validity of salat when addressing a person who is illegitimate. My mother is Muslim and my father's condition is very questionable. I was raised as a non-Muslim by my mother, and 3 years ago I embraced Islam, Al hamdulillah. Mentioned that no Salat allows me to be illegitimate. However, I find myself in scenarios where the work is not in our normal magnet is present. I follow the Hanafi school, and I wonder if I can preside over the Salat?

The idea among some communities that an illegitimate child can not lead in prayer (salat), or the prayer behind an imam who is illegitimate is valid or did not like the notion that it is wrong and absurd. The fact is that if an illegitimate child is fair and has the skills to successfully meet the conditions of Salat, then there is nothing bad at all in prayer behind him.
Allah Most High says:
"And no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another." (Quran, 17:15)
The confusion may have arisen from a text found in many classic works Hanafi Fiqh indicating that prayer offered behind a person of slaves, a blind man and an illegitimate child does not like (makrooh). (See, for example: Al-Falah Maraqi, P: 302)
However, this should not be taken at the foot of the face, but properly understood in light of other texts explaining the Hanafi school. Classical Hanafi jurists (lawyers) explain that legal cause behind nature did not like praying behind an illegitimate child is his lack of knowledge or inability to properly fulfill the conditions of the sentence. As such, if this legal case is not present, then nature did not like to pray behind him no longer exists.
The renowned Hanafi jurist, Imam Ibn Abidin (Allah have mercy on him), while explaining the text of Al-Durr al-Mukhtar who does not like to pray behind an illegitimate child, states:
"This is due to the fact that he [ie illegal] no [general] has a father to raise, train and teach, therefore, ignorance (Jahl) takes hold of him [and therefore can not properly fulfill the conditions of the sentence]. "(Radd al - l wing Muhtar '-Durr al-Mukhtar, 1 / 562) This
few quotes make clear that the text is in Hanafi nature classics quote did not like (Karaha) to pray behind a person born outside of marriage is subordinate to him to be ignorant and unable to fulfill the conditions of the sentence. The text was written at a time when ignorance of the laws of Islam was more prevalent among illegitimate children born outside legal marriages. Thus, despite being illegitimate, if a person has the characteristics needed to be a magnet, then he can be a magnet, not disgust.
In fact, if an illegitimate child is fairer and more knowledge than others in regard to the rules of prayer, then it is more worthy of leading the prayer. Imam Ibn
Abidin (Allah have mercy on him) explains in his Radd al-Muhtar cite Al-Bahr al-Ra'iq and Al-Ikhtiyar that if the legal cause behind nature did not like to pray behind of an illegitimate child [ie, ignorance] is not present, for example, which is higher (Afdhal) that originates from a legal marriage, the ruling will be reversed [meaning will be something he did not like to pray behind the born of a legal marriage, and did not]. (Radd al-Muhtar, 1 / 560)
So, rest assured brother that is perfectly fine for you to lead others in Salah, provided they have the skills to successfully meet the conditions of the sentence and do not let anyone tell you otherwise.
