Can you kindly answer the following question in the light of Quran and Sunnah. The five kalimahs, which are taught in many Madaris (Islamic schools for Children) in view of other important issues related to Islam, what is your reality? I live in a society where there is great importance to this factor. I'm sure there are other important things can be taught to children.

Kalimas The five (statements) that are taught in religious schools in the Indian subcontinent (and those from there) is for the purpose of instilling in Heart of a child of the roots of faith (imam) and belief (Aqidah).
The first two of the five Kalimas are necessary and important for all Muslims, and who is giving testimony (Shahadah) the fact that there is Allah (God save Allah, and Muhammad bless him and give him peace) is His Prophet and Messenger.

The third is actually a dhikr of Allah in glorifying and praising God. There are great rewards promised in the hadith on this dhikr of Allah.
The Companion Abu Hurairah (Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:
"That I say" Subhan Allah wa Wal hamd li Allah la ilaha illa Allah wa Allahu Akbar 'is dearer to me that what the sun has shed its light. " (That means your reward is more beloved to me than the whole universe and everything in it.) (Sahih Muslim, 2695 and Sunan Tirmidhi, 3591)

"Whoever says:" The ILA has wahdahu the Sharik illa Allah Allah lahu Lahu Al-Mulk wa al-Hamd wahuwa kulli wing Qadir Shay in "ten times, you receive the reward of freeing four slaves from the children of Ismael (Allah bless him). "(Sahih al-Bukhari, 6404 and Saheeh Muslim, 2693)
The fifth is an appeal kalimah (DUA) in disapproval of unbelief (kufr) and the search for the protection of Allah any association of partners with him.
Now, the first two or one of the two Kalimas are essential and should be taught to children, as they represent the basic beliefs of Islam. However, the other three Kalimahs are the words of Allah and Dua.
There is nothing drastically wrong with teaching these children Kalimahs the Madaris, and one should not oppose it. However, it should be noted here that, by teaching these Kalimahs, one should not overlook and neglect other important aspects of Islamic Knowledge. The child is in its initial phase of learning the fundamentals of Islam and we must ensure that you receive a knowledge adequacy of Islam that will benefit you in this world and beyond.
